Carthage came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Lebanon Yellowjackets on Wednesday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Carthage's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Lebanon, they moved to 16-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carthage will take on Lamar at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lebanon, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against St. James at 4:30 p.m.
