Meanwhile, Earlville put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Alden-Hebron 65-33 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Earlville has posted since December 6, 2023.
Earlville can attribute much of their success to Ryan Browder, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, and Griffin Cook, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Cook is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trenton Fruit, who scored six points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Ashton-Franklin Center bumped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Earlville, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
