The Oak Level Baptist Academy Conquerors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 56-4 loss at the hands of South Guilford HomeSchool. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oak Level Baptist Academy has scored all season.
South Guilford HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kassidy Bullins out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Bullins is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Taliya Davis, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Oak Level Baptist Academy dropped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.7 points per game. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Level Baptist Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Calvary Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th. Calvary Christian's defense has only allowed 26.9 points per game this season, so Oak Level Baptist Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Forsyth Home Educators at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Home Educators is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
