The Sauquoit Valley Indians lost against the Central Valley Academy Thunder back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Sauquoit Valley suffered a rough 71-48 loss at the hands of Central Valley Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sauquoit Valley in their matchups with Central Valley Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Deacon Judd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Valley Academy, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Judd's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braden Moreau, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five steals.
Sauquoit Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Central Valley Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sauquoit Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oriskany at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Central Valley Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Canada Valley at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
