Woodcreek has gone 9-1 against Roseville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Woodcreek Timberwolves will head out on the road to challenge the Roseville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Woodcreek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Woodcreek didn't have too much trouble with Bella Vista as they won 59-44. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Broncos are ranked 607th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Michael Kirby, Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 18 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Bualat, who posted 12 points.
Meanwhile, Roseville came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Raging Rhinos.
Woodcreek better focus on containing Ren Marsh and Oreste Yong as the pair were huge in Roseville's win. Marsh went 8 of 18 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds, while Yong went 9 for 11 en route to 20 points and six boards. The match was Yong's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Santiago Barbonier, who put up three points.
Roseville was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in four consecutive contests.
Roseville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Woodcreek, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Woodcreek hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.4 points per game. However, it's not like Roseville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 67 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Everything came up roses for Woodcreek against Roseville when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured an 83-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodcreek since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
