The Cumby Trojans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Clarksville 50-20 at home. The result was nothing new for Cumby, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cumby to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chett Vaughan, who threw for 144 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Dakari Johnson, who rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Cumby's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Clarksville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Cumby will head out on the road to face off against Mart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mart will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
