Meanwhile, Tri got themselves on the board against Cambridge City Lincoln on Friday, but Cambridge City Lincoln never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Golden Eagles. Considering the Titans have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Ann Bean, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
Tri's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Daleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Daleville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like Tri struggles in that department as they've averaged .352. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
