The Hillsdale Falcons will challenge the Crestview Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsdale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, Hillsdale got the win against Northwestern by a conclusive 9-2. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.
Kennedy Fickes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Fickes was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. Those home runs were her first of the season.

Hillsdale pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Crestview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
