Lamar came out on top against East Rankin Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Raiders walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Jackson Whitcomb was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most home runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. Hamp Haarala also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Lamar's record now sits at 15-1. As for East Rankin Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Lamar will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
