After a string of seven wins, Prosper's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost to the Princeton Panthers at home by a 78-62 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Prosper's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 16-7. As for Princeton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Prosper and Princeton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Prosper (ranked 25th) will meet Plano West (ranked 349th) at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Princeton will challenge McKinney Boyd on Friday up 206 places (69 vs. 275).
