After flying high against Delbarton last Saturday, Rutgers Prep came back down to earth. The Rutgers Prep Argonauts received a blow on Monday as they fell 80-63 to the St. Rose Purple Roses. The Argonauts' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rutgers Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Rose, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Rutgers Prep will finish 2024 at home by hosting Don Bosco Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Rutgers Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Don Bosco Prep likes a good challenge. St. Rose and St. Frances Academy will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Rose has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
