The Saraland Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Galloway 49-45.
Galloway was led to victory by JB Clark and Dylan Homer. Clark scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Homer scored 14 points along with three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ryan Levin was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Saraland has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Galloway, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
Saraland won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Atlanta Classical Academy at 1:00 p.m. on December 21st. Galloway will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cristo Rey Atlanta at 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
