Wryan Jenkins made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other pitching news, Miami got a great performance from Santiago Espana-Reconco as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Espana-Reconco has posted since back in February of 2025.
