Marian Central Catholic won the last time they faced Chicago Hope Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over Chicago Hope Academy. The Hurricanes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Marian Central Catholic got a massive performance out of Mia Convey, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Natalia Lara was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Marian Central Catholic pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
