Last Saturday, Fredericksburg Christian put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Christchurch School and carried off a 42-13 win. Senior Cameron Schaub, who rushed for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Fredericksburg Christian's success. Schaub has been a consistent playmaker for Fredericksburg Christian as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Atlantic Shores Christian weren't quite North Cross's equal in the second half when they met. Atlantic Shores Christian were dealt a punishing 0-44 defeat at the hands of North Cross. Atlantic Shores Christian's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it four losses in a row.
Fredericksburg Christian's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Atlantic Shores Christian's loss dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Fredericksburg Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if Atlantic Shores Christian can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fredericksburg Christian's step.
