Corvian Community has gone 7-2 against Bradford Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Corvian Community Cardinals will face off against the Bradford Prep Bears at 7:30 p.m. Corvian Community knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Bradford Prep likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Corvian Community made easy work of Pine Lake Prep and carried off a 73-49 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Pride: they've now won four in a row.

Corvian Community found their leader in sophomore RJ Moore Jr., who went 9-for-22 en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. Moore Jr. has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Malachi McCutcheon was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 12 points.
Corvian Community smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bradford Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Mountain Island Charter on Tuesday, taking the game 60-51.
Bradford Prep's win came from a few key players Corvian Community will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaden Bradley, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Poston, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.
Corvian Community's record now sits at 16-6. As for Bradford Prep, their record is now 13-11.
Thursday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Corvian Community has been crazy accurate this season, having made 47.8% of their shots per game. However, it's not like Bradford Prep struggles in that department as they've made 55.2% of their field goals this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Corvian Community strolled past Bradford Prep in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 77-63. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Bradley, who went 10-for-14 en route to 23 points and five assists. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Corvian Community still be able to contain Bradley? There's only one way to find out.
