Simsboro will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Choudrant, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Aggies on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Noah Thomas spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Chris Harrell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Braylon Gipson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Weston's offense. They came up short against Ruston on Thursday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Simsboro, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
Weston's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Simsboro hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .342. It's a different story for Weston, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Simsboro's hitters?
Simsboro might still be hurting after the 18-4 loss they got from Weston in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
