Westfield entered their tilt with Carmel on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 52-43 win over the Carmel Greyhounds. The 52-point effort marked the Shamrocks' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Durante Morton, who posted eight points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Morton a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Harvey, who earned 13 points and five assists.

Westfield pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Carmel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Westfield will square off against Hamilton Southeastern at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Carmel, they will challenge Bloomington South at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th.
