After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Barber, Attica was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Fairfield Falcons with a 49-43 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Attica's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Swingle, who posted 14 points and eight boards. Mac Harnden was another key player, putting up 16 points.

When it comes to explaining why Fairfield lost, don't look at Connor Fowler. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 48.8% of Fairfield's points, marking the third time in a row Fowler has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Chase Combs, who put up six points and six boards.

Attica's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Fairfield, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Attica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-33 win against Skyline on the 11th. As for Fairfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-34 victory against Burrton on the 11th.
