The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves lost against the Hayes Pacers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Worthington Kilbourne was outmatched by Hayes on the road and fell 80-51. Worthington Kilbourne was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-18.
Despite the loss, Worthington Kilbourne still got an impressive performance from Te'mar Lewis, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds. The match was Lewis' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Evan Schutte was another key contributor, scoring six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Worthington Kilbourne and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Hayes, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Worthington Kilbourne will be home for the holidays to greet Big Walnut at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hayes, they will head out on the road to face off against Westerville South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Westerville South will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Hayes is ranked fourth).
