After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chesapeake, North County was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Glen Burnie Gophers a 7-0 shutout. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.
Not much got past Dylan Reynolds, who gave up just two hits to keep Glen Burnie off the board. Reynolds has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Nic Burton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Logan Alimo was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
