Pittsfield is 2-8 against the Warriors since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Pittsfield Generals will head out on the road to challenge the Wahconah Regional Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Pittsfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully the Warriors likes a good challenge.
Even though Agawam scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Pittsfield still came out on top. Pittsfield took their game against the Brownies 74-65.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pittsfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malachi Perry, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perry has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Da'Sean Brown, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Wahconah Regional was beaten by the Brownies 61-34 on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wahconah Regional has scored all season.
Pittsfield has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Wahconah Regional, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
Pittsfield was able to grind out a solid win over the Warriors in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 77-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pittsfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
