The Leonard Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Forest Hill Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Leonard came up short against Jupiter Christian and fell 48-36.
Meanwhile, Forest Hill lost to Seminole Ridge at home by a decisive 50-36 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, Forest Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Seminole Ridge is ranked 92nd).
Leonard's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Forest Hill, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Leonard might still be hurting after the 49-23 loss they got from Forest Hill in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Leonard avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
