Make it eight blowout wins for the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors this season. They really took it to DSST: College View for the full four quarters, racking up a 85-46 victory on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-18.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch was led to victory by Jovonnie Babineaux and Tong Bot. Babineaux scored 17 points, while Bot scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Babineaux hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Skyyaire Russell, who scored 11 points.
DSST: College View lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Fabian Sosa, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Sosa, who scored ten points along with two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for DSST: Green Valley Ranch and bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for DSST: College View, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch will take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Addenbrooke Classical Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for DSST: College View, they will head out on the road to take on the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. DSST: Conservatory Green will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
