Destiny Christian is ranked highly in their home state, and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Southwest Christian Academy. Destiny Christian was the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over Southwest Christian Academy. The result was nothing new for Destiny Christian, who have now won five matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Destiny Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dennis Dibbe led the charge by rushing for 235 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Ramsey, who rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Crossover Prep came up short against Abundant Life on Friday and fell 21-8. Crossover Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Destiny Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.4 points per game. As for Crossover Prep, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
