The Crescent Loggers came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Thorp as Crescent made off with a 53-27 win. Considering Crescent has won three contests by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Lukas Love was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Conner Bauers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Crescent's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Thorp, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Concrete the next time they take the court. Thorp will head out to face Concrete at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Crescent will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
