The Moultonborough Academy Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Franklin Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Hampshire (Moultonborough Academy is ranked 56th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 64th).
Moultonborough Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-34 loss at the hands of Profile. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moultonborough Academy in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Franklin didn't have too much trouble with the Panthers on the road on Wednesday as they won 53-35.
Moultonborough Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Moultonborough Academy was able to grind out a solid win over the Tornadoes when the teams last played back in January, winning 48-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moultonborough Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
