Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Model Blue Devils walked away with it. They came out on top against Therrell by a score of 21-8 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Model.
Model is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Therrell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.
Model will square off against Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Callaway will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Therrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
