The Piper Bengals won the last time they faced the Coral Glades Jaguars, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Piper claimed a resounding 55-3 win over Coral Glades on the road.
Leading Piper to victory were Tahlia Dolce and Lauren Richardson. Dolce scored 16 points, while Richardson scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Harmony Harris, who scored 5 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Piper back to even at 1-1. As for Coral Glades, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Piper will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Taravella at 6:00 p.m. As for Coral Glades, they will head out on the road to face off against Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Deerfield Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
