The Teton Timberwolves will venture away from home to face off against the Shelley Russets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Teton came up short against Snake River on Thursday, falling 13-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

James Borg and Luke Nelson did some serious damage despite the final result: Borg went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Nelson went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Borg has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Shelley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 14-6 win. While the Russets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Kael Remington made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Remington was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Shelley got a massive performance out of Zach Trosper, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs Trosper has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Thad Lindsey, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Shelley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
Teton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shelley, their record now sits at 7-1.
Teton couldn't quite get it done against Shelley when the teams last played back in May of 2018 as they fell 13-9. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
