Piedmont Academy kept up with Windsor Academy until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Knights put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 6-1 victory. That looming 6-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Windsor Academy yet this season.

They hit Piedmont Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cameron Hunter (2), Ella Harper (2), Trinity Blasingame, and Madelyn 'Maddie' Price.

Windsor Academy moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Piedmont Academy, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Windsor Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piedmont Academy, they will be playing at home against Stratford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Piedmont Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
