The Palo Verde Titans had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 56-20 defeat at the hands of Show Low. Palo Verde lost against Show Low in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-13 score last time.
Aubrie Wilson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Raquel Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 steals.
Palo Verde's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Show Low, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Palo Verde will head out on the road to face off against Catalina at 5:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Show Low, they will take on Sahuarita at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
