Basketball Recap: Paramus Sets Scoring Season-High Against River Dell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paramus). They took down the River Dell Golden Hawks 53-38 on Friday. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Hawks, too.

River Dell lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Pat Sweeny, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Nunez, who earned nine points.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for River Dell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paramus will challenge Dwight Morrow at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Dell, they will take on Ramsey at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
