Cornerstone Christian's record now sits at 7-9. As for Eagle Pass, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 13-2.

Cornerstone Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eagle Pass hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .511. It's a different story for Cornerstone Christian, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Eagle Pass' hitters?

Eagle Pass took their win against Cornerstone Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eagle Pass since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
