Badin is a perfect 10-0 against Roger Bacon since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will head out to challenge the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Badin's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Roger Bacon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Badin was able to grind out a solid win over Chaminade Julienne Catholic, taking the game 8-4. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

At the plate, Avery Snyder was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emily Albrinck, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Roger Bacon let Indian Hill stack four runs on them in the sixth inning on Thursday but luckily Roger Bacon prevailed anyway. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Braves 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since May 9, 2025.
Kylie Land made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Erin Pare, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those doubles were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Weigand, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Roger Bacon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Badin has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Roger Bacon, though, as they've been averaging 10.1 hits. Given Badin's sizable advantage in that area, the Spartans will need to find a way to close that gap.
Badin got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 against Roger Bacon by a conclusive 10-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
