Ronney Spruill Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Bremen had to settle for second even though Ronney Spruill put up the best numbers he has all season. Spruill rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards.
Bremen is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Spruill will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Thornton Fractional North on Friday.

Erimus Wright Delivers Electric Performance Vs Blue Island Eisenhower
Erimus Wright's big game helped extend Hillcrest's winning streak to five on Friday. Wright was unstoppable, rushing for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Blue Island Eisenhower's probably not too fond of Wright given he always seems to get the better of them. When Wright last faced the Cardinals back in September of 2023, he rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Christian Streeter was a major factor in Thornton Fractional South's win over Bremen on Friday. Streeter was dynamite, rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns.
On the season, Streeter has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 95.1 rushing yards per game.

Tinley Park Gets a Boost from George in 35-34 Loss
Keoni George continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fifth-straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. He rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
