The Heritage Patriots had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They managed a 82-76 victory over Paloma Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Viray led the charge by scoring 23 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden De Leon, who scored 17 points.
Heritage's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-14. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 86.0 points per game. As for Paloma Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Paloma Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
