North Bergen has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Lincoln Lions at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for North Bergen, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-31 loss to Union City.
Meanwhile, Lincoln's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-44 bruising from American Christian School.
North Bergen bumped their record down to 4-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
North Bergen strolled past Lincoln in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 57-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Bergen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
