The Tolar Rattlers will venture away from home to challenge the Eastland Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tolar had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Millsap on Friday. The Rattlers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Tolar got a great performance from Lillie Uselton as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Uselton has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Allyson Dobbs was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Senne Imel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three runs.
Tolar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eastland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Breckenridge on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mavericks have posted against the Buckaroos since April 20, 2018.
Ana Cunningham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Yozelyn Ojeda was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Myla Huffman was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Eastland has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Tolar, they pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Tolar hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Eastland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Tolar couldn't quite get it done against Eastland in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 11-6. Can the Rattlers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
