Even though the Central Jaguars have not done well against the Milton Panthers recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Central snuck past the Panthers with a  39-33 victory. The  victory was familiar territory for Central who now have three in a row.
 Central was led to victory by  Lily Mathews and  Lakin Mathews.  Mathews  scored 16 points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks, while  Mathews  scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Mathews has scored all season.
 Central's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Milton, they have  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
 Central and the Patriots will face off  at 6:30  p.m.  on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pace is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Milton, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Vikings at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Fort Walton Beach presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Florida (the Vikings are ranked 63rd, while the Panthers are ranked 220th).
