Lena-Winslow and Galena squared off in some playoff action  on Wednesday, but Lena-Winslow had to settle for second. They fell  2-0 to the Pirates. The Panthers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Galena to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Zoe Blaum, who  had 19  digs and two assists. Those  19  digs gave  Blaum a new career-high.  Emma Ehrler was another key player,  getting 33  assists and 14  digs.
Lena-Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Galena, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 29-6.
 Lena-Winslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Galena, they will take on Eastland at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
