In what's become a running theme this season, the San Fernando Valley Academy Huskies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Pilgrim as San Fernando Valley Academy made off with a 52-27 win. The victory was familiar territory for San Fernando Valley Academy who now have five in a row.
San Fernando Valley Academy was led to victory by Neprix Sisona and Isaac Herrera. Sisona scored 13 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Herrera dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Herrera has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Corral, who scored eight points along with four steals.
San Fernando Valley Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Pilgrim, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Fernando Valley Academy will take on Summit View at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit View has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pilgrim, they will head out on the road to face off against Mesrobian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
