The Deerfield Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Moscow 75-21 on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Deerfield as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Deerfield found their leader in underclassman Colten Musil, who scored 24 points along with two steals. Cristian Botello was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Deerfield's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Moscow, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rolla the next time they take the court. Deerfield will head out to face Rolla on Tuesday, while Moscow will host them on Thursday.
