On Wednesday, the Olympia Titans faced the Edgewater Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Olympia fell to Edgewater 61-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Olympia's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kameren Wright, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Wright hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. Vophcy Prophete was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Olympia and nudges their season record down to 16-6. As for Edgewater, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.
Olympia will square off against Hialeah Educational Academy at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Hialeah Educational Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Edgewater, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evans knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Edgewater likes a good challenge.
