Lakeshore scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 88-67 margin over Pearl River. Lakeshore has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.
Lakeshore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caiden Bickham, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds. Bickham hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for seven straight games. Owen Guth was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
The victory (which was Lakeshore's fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Pearl River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season.
Lakeshore is on the road again on Friday and plays Loranger at 7:00 p.m. on February 16th. Loranger is coming into the contest with five straight losses at home, meaning Lakeshore will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Pearl River will take on Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pearl River and Pine are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
