After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Kearney, Central was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Raytown South Cardinals as they made off with  a  16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Kanon Wetlaufer made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Wetlaufer was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Elias Medina and  Sam Massey did most of the damage at the plate:  Medina  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Massey  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Medina is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Rex Holcomb, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Central  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in three consecutive  matchups.
Central's record now sits at 9-6. As for Raytown South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
 Coming up, Central will head out on the road to  square off against  Oak Park  at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 23rd. As for Raytown South, they will be playing at home against Ruskin  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Cardinals are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on  a  13-game losing streak.
