Gilman City snuck past North Harrison with a 60-54 victory. That's two games straight that Gilman City has won by exactly six points.
North Harrison's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Keygun Johnson, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds. Johnson scored a full 38.9% of North Harrison's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jerry Gilpatrick was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
The victory got Gilman City back to even at 2-2. As for North Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilman City will take on Union Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Harrison, they will be playing at home against Winston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Winston comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
