4A Region II District 13 recap September 4, 2013
McKinney North scaled the state rankings by moving to 299 from 339 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region II District 13. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of topping Newman Smith 34-17.
Lovejoy took down Heritage 62-42 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bowman Sells threw for 318 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 55 yards in the win.
The Leopards' dynamic duo of Sells and Justice Luce proved tough for the Coyotes to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dan Sefcik helped Lovejoy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 60 yards.
