After taking the lead on a Hilinski touchdown pass to Khan in the first quarter, ND led 34-0 at the half.

Notre Dame's most effective player was Hilinski. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
When the two teams played each other last season, ND came away with a 34-12 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Birmingham, which notched a 54-6 victory over Grant in its previous outing. With the win the Knights extended their winning streak to three games. The loss snapped the Patriots' 3-game winning streak.
Notre Dame (3-1) will play a non-conference game against Golden Valley next week, while Birmingham (3-1) will take on Hart also in a non-conference game.
