The Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders and the Pascack Valley Panthers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
The matchup between Dwight Morrow and Fort Lee on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Dwight Morrow secured a 60-55 W over Fort Lee. The win was just what Dwight Morrow needed coming off of a 76-53 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Pascack Valley waltzed into their matchup on Sunday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Dwight-Englewood 54-36. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Pascack Valley has managed all season.
Dwight Morrow pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Pascack Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Dwight Morrow was taken down by Pascack Valley 64-27 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Dwight Morrow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
